9/11 Survivor of the World Trade Center, Michelle Rosado

On September 11, 2001, Michelle Cruz-Rosado was seated at her desk on the 95th floor of Tower 2 of the World Trade Center, when there was a crashing sound causing the windows in her office to shatter. The decisions she made in the moments following this event changed her life forever.

Michelle's heroic escape from the falling towers led to her powerful decision to walk away from an abusive relationship of 11 years, despite the fear and constant threats that she endured. She is a survivor of two tragic events.
