8/27/09 - Speaking to the Troubled Youth

WEST PALM BEACH, Florida —August 27 th, 2009–Michelle Rosado visited the inmates at the West Palm Beach Juvenile Detention Center where she shared her own experience as a troubled teenager, and as a survivor of the 9/11 tragedy.

"It was one of the most life-changing experiences I've had in a long time," Michelle said. "Seeing how bright and insightful these boys and girls were just gave me a glimpse of the miracles they can accomplish - if they just believe and stay focused on their dreams and goals."

Michelle spoke to four groups of teenagers, ranging from 12 to 17 years of age. "I look forward to another opportunity of sharing my message of hope and awareness with those of all ages. It's great to be part of such a worthy cause."
